HOW IT WORKS
TECHNOLOGY
MBC Technology relies on a process called OARO (Osmotically Assisted Reverse Osmosis).
In this process, high pressure reverse osmosis membranes are used with low solute rejection.
High solute transport in the membrane reduces osmotic pressure difference and makes it possible to drive water even if the osmotic pressure of feed is significantly higher than the hydraulic pressure.
